This early Series IIa from 1962 is in absolute NEW condition, has undergone an extensive restoration to original specifications and has driven approximately 800 km since then. The Land Rover has been professionally body-off restored. In this extensive process, the chassis, body and every nut were stripped, then everything was rebuilt. The chassis is blasted, thermal zinc sprayed and powder coated. The 2.25 liter diesel engine has been completely overhauled and offers the familiar feeling of an old-school self-igniter. The complete drivetrain, transmission, axle differentials and braking system have also been overhauled, and a new wiring harness has been installed. Everything has been done to preserve the spartan and bold character of this Landy as faithfully as possible. All original galvanized parts have also been re-galvanized.
